À propos de A Hole In The Ground, Dana Margolin, la leadeuse du groupe, a déclaré : « C’est une chanson sur le fait de ne pas savoir ce qui nous arrive, quand on se sent piégé dans un rêve féérique ou un horrible cauchemar, qu’on court et que l’on prédit des avenirs horribles qui se réalisent et s’accomplissent. C’est une douce berceuse, mais c’est aussi un conte populaire à la fin tragique. C’est une chanson qui parle de savoir ce que l’on ne sait pas encore. Voir l’avenir en le devinant, et en ayant raison ». En fait, ça parle d’une personne qui devient adulte et qui comprend que les rêves c’est pas pour de vrai. J’adore la voix de Dana, j’aime beaucoup l’orchestration presque symphonique, c’est un putain de très joli single.
