Tame Impala dévoile le single « It Might Be Time » et annonce un nouvel album pour février 2020
Mais je n’aime pas ce nouveau single. Est ce que c’est ce clavier ultra présent ou la composition presque destructurée ? Je pense que c’est un peu tout. Le gros beat qui accompagne la sirène pourrait faire l’affaire mais il disparaît pendant les couplets, on en décèle à peine quelques traces. Pourtant pas de changement à la barre. C’est facile à reconnaître. Kevin Parker a enregistré, produit et mixé ce son (et le prochain album) lui-même. Il a même fabriqué le carton pour les pochettes. Pourtant j’avais adoré le coté house indé mélancolique de Borderline le précédent single.
Pour moi, les calculs sont pas bons kévin. Ca ressemble trop à du Supertramp electro pour moi. Il manque le petit groove en plus qui fait que même mélancolique, tu as envie de bouger tes fesses. Mais tu vas y arriver kévin, j’en suis sur.
The Slow Rush de Tame Impala paraîtra donc le 14 février 2020 et j’espère que j’en tomberais amoureux.
