Death Cab for Cutie a annoncé son nouvel album, « I Built You a Tower, » avec la sortie de son premier single, « Riptide ».

Riptides est je cite : » le défi de faire face à un chagrin écrasant alors que le monde qui nous entoure connaît une tragédie et une perte à une échelle insondable ». Il s’agit donc de remonter la marée comme un saumon (ils ne font pas ça mais on s’en fout). Il s’agit d’activer son super pouvoir de résilience.
Coté musique, on retrouve le rock clair et sophistiqué du groupe. C’est toujours aussi intelligent et sensible. Il y a rien qui dépasse, j’aimerai que parfois ils se lachent un peu plus mais ça reste perfecto blouson de cuir.
