Djo, alias Joe Keery (oui, Steve Harrington, la permanente la plus cool de Stranger Things), revient avec un nouvel album et un single tout droit sorti d’un rêve cotonneux : Potion. Plus qu’un simple morceau, c’est un élixir pop psyché, flottant et sucré, qui te murmure à l’oreille pendant que tu regardes le plafond tourner.
Potion, un slow synthétique pour les cœurs en pleine métamorphose
Extrait de son nouvel album The Crux fraîchement sorti (et que tu dois écouter, soyons clair), Potion incarne ce que Djo sait faire de mieux : transformer l’introspection en groove, et la mélancolie en fraicheur. On y retrouve tout ce qu’on aime chez lui : les synthés liquides, la basse moelleuse, la voix voilée comme une confidence passée à la moulinette analogique.
C’est doux, profondément doux. Pas dans le sens mièvre – non. Doux comme une nuit trop courte. Doux comme une nostalgie qu’on caresse du bout des doigts. On flotte.
Djo 2025 : un album qui enveloppe, un son qui réconforte
Ce nouveau disque (dont on reparlera très vite) est une parenthèse pop psyché ultra maîtrisée, à la fois référencée et personnelle. Djo n’essaie pas d’être cool. Il est cool, mais malgré lui. Son truc, c’est de créer un univers sonore où tu peux t’allonger, fermer les yeux, et voyager sans billet.
