Le célèbre groupe écossais Mogwai a marqué son retour en ce début d’année avec la sortie d’un tout nouveau single intitulé « Fanzine Made Of Flesh » extrait de leur prochain album «The Bad Fire» qui sortira le 24 janvier prochain.
Une évolution dans la continuité
Depuis sa formation en 1995, Mogwai s’est imposé comme une figure incontournable de la scène post-rock (c’est du rock en plus fou en résumé), avec des albums acclamés comme « Young Team » ou, plus récemment, « As The Love Continues », récompensé par le prestigieux Mercury Prize. Avec « Fanzine Made Of Flesh », le groupe continue d’explorer les textures sonores avec un mélange de Kraftwerk, ABBA et du rock (ce n’est pas moi qui le dit, ce sont eux).
Une ambiance hypnotique
Ce nouveau single se distingue par des arrangements riches et une production soignée. Les nappes de guitares éthérées se mêlent à des percussions puissantes ou s’ajoute un vocoder très daft punkien (je sais pas si ça existe, maintenant oui).
