Après son premier single, « A.F. Day, » sorti en mai dernier que j’ai eu le plaisir de vous partager, « Justice Will Shine On » suit en étant moins system of a down et plus hardcore. Ce nouveau titre traite directement du génocide arménien. Serj chante sur l’horreur vécue par ses ancêtres. Je cite : “Can you tell me dear grandfather of your childhood so far away/ You can see the death of laughter in his teared eyes disarray/ Can you tell me dear grandmother of your childhood from hunger and pain/ Of the orphans you called brothers in her teared eyes disarray.”
Tandis que la double pédale et les guitares envoient du steack, Serj nous montre encore une fois sa palette vocale. Il te fait bouger la tête tout en nous sensibilisant. Je valide.
