Hypnose sonore et engagement : Look Alive annonce la clôture d’une trilogie
Ça commence dans un trip krautrock un brin math rock, comme si on débarquait dans une salle obscure d’Helsinki en plein set instrumental bien tarabiscoté. Et là, le morceau prend un virage, s’allège pour devenir du post-punk mélodique, un duo de voix qui se répond sur des riffs de guitare simples mais affûtés. « Ne réfléchissez pas, soyez vivant », ironisent-ils, et franchement, le jeu à deux voix qui se cale à la batterie hypnotique et à la guitare virevoltante, c’est magnétique.
*Look Alive* est un extrait de leur troisième album, « Earthworks« , à paraître le 23 novembre et qui viendra clore une trilogie démarrée avec « Age of Exile » en 2020 et « SOS » en 2022. Un son évolutif qui nous fait plonger dans une étrange danse entre nostalgie et rage.
