Les Londoniens de Y lâchent aujourd’hui leur tout nouveau single « Hate », deuxième avant-goût de leur premier EP éponyme qui débarquera le 4 avril chez Hideous Mink Records & SO Recordings.
Un deuxième extrait avant un premier EP qui s’annonce furieux
Y, c’est un peu le meilleur du sale et du déglingué de la scène anglaise actuelle : des membres issus de Fat White Family, Meatraffle et Pregoblin, un son impossible à ranger dans une case et une énergie qui sent la bière tiède et la transpiration. Y – décrit sa musique comme du « wonk rock », du « Gameboy thrash » ou encore de la « musique de mariage égyptien ».
Leur premier single, « Why », a déjà retourné la presse indé (So Young, DIY, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit, Rough Trade). Je vous parie que ça sera la même chose pour ce second. Il y a des cuivres et comme je dis souvent, quand il y a des cuivres, c’est toujours bien.
