Forever Howlong : Black Country, New Road revient avec un album audacieux et un single captivant
Produit par James Ford (Fontaines D.C., Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Blur), Forever Howlong dévoile une nouvelle configuration du groupe, où les parties vocales – et la majeure partie de l’écriture des chansons – sont partagées entre Tyler Hyde, Georgia Ellery et May Kershaw. « Cela a créé un vrai fil conducteur pour l’album d’avoir trois voix féminines », explique Ellery. « C’est définitivement très différent de Ants From Up There, notamment grâce à la perspective féminine – et la musique que nous avons créée le reflète également. »
En bref, Black country new road a choisi de défoncer le patriarcat dans un alt rock rock élégant et intelligent. C’est en tout cas ce que transpire « Beastie », leur nouveau single. C’est beau, c’est grand, c’est cinématique. Bref, je valide.
