Les Bristoliens (on dit comme ça ?) de Sunglasz Vendor reviennent en force avec leur dernier single, « Ice Cream Tubs ».
Ce morceau est une invitation à plonger dans une mélodie un peu psyché, un peu entrainante, un peu rock, un peu spoken word (beaucoup d’un peu en fait, c’est un procédé stylistique) se mêlent à des rythmes entraînants et des hooks punchy et addictifs.
Dès les premières notes, « Ice Cream Tubs » nous transporte dans une ambiance quasi estivale comme une fin de journée La voix douce et aérienne du chanteur ajoute une touche de légèreté mais pourtant la mélodie tout en rupture n’hésite pas à partir du pop rock vers le rock psyché. C’est surprenant, étonnant et j’adore les changements de rythme. On dirait presque les unicorns, surtout dans la seconde partie du morceau. Je valide.
